Putting things on hold

My mother has been in and out of the hospital for the past 2 years since she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer.
I have an art trade I'm putting on hold, a design I'm doing for a friends birthday on hold, and a list of ideas I want to eventually do and etc... on hold because I'm creating some "get well soon" art for my mother.
This should be her FINAL surgery, at least that's what we're hoping.
This was the surgery she was supposed to have back in... November.
Long story short, just like always, it seems we hit some complications.
She may be getting out tomorrow but it's still a 6 week recovery in which I'm taking care of her and the stu

I have a scrapbooking kit I got for Christmas and I have NO idea what to do with it.
The ugly pages that came with it DO NOT HELP.
Anyone have any ideas/suggestions of what I can do with it?
I have random things like my old prom tickets and stuff, but past that I have no idea.
Do you think this should be an ongoing project or something?
